Edit a design

Click anything in a design to change it, or describe the change and AI makes it.

Editing free, AI with Pro or Lifetime

The editor lets you change a design before you copy it: its words, colours, sizes, spacing and icons. Editing by hand is free. Asking AI to make the change needs Pro or Lifetime.

  1. Open the editor

Click Edit with AI in the bar above a design. It opens in your theme.

  2. Click what you want to change

Click any part of the design: a heading, a button, a card. The panel at the right shows its text, colours, size, spacing and more. Double-click text to type over it.

  3. Change it

Use the panel, or the small bar over the part you picked: font size, weight, alignment, a new icon, move, duplicate or delete.

  4. Or ask AI

With a part picked, describe the change in the Edit with AI box and click Customize with AI. For example:

    • “Make this button full width on phones.”
    • “Change the heading to Plans for every team.”
    • “Add a fourth feature about security.”
  5. Check it on every screen

Use Desktop, Tablet and Mobile at the top, and switch between Light and Dark.

  6. Copy it or save it

Click Copy HTML, or its arrow for the other choices below. Save keeps it in My Library to edit later.

Handy controls

ControlWhat it does
Edit | PreviewPreview lets you use the design as a visitor would: open its tabs, menus and accordions.
Alt + clickUses the design without leaving Edit, for example to open a menu and then edit what’s inside it. Option + click on a Mac.
Ctrl + clickPicks what’s underneath the part you clicked. ⌘ + click on a Mac.
Undo and redoThe arrows at the top, or Ctrl Z and Ctrl Y.
ResetTakes the design back to how it was. You can undo it.

An edit you make on Tablet or Mobile can apply to that screen size only. After an AI style change like that, the editor may offer Apply to all screens, free.

Copying your edits

  • Copy HTML copies the markup. Copy JavaScript copies its script, if it has one: paste it after the markup.
  • Light only copies it without the dark mode classes.
  • Copy React copies it as React. Once you’ve edited a design, its React is written by AI and uses a few credits, once: copy it again and it’s free.
  • Copy font code copies what loads your theme’s font.

What AI edits cost

Small edits, like new text or a colour, use 1 credit. Bigger ones, like a new layout, use more. If an edit fails, you get your credits back. See AI credits.
