Plans and billing

What do I get with Fieldnote Pro?

Unlimited devices, 10 GB of attachments, a year of version history and notebooks you can keep offline. Pro is $6 a month or $48 a year.

Is there a family plan?

Fieldnote Family covers up to 6 people for $10 a month. Everyone gets Pro and a private space, plus the notebooks you choose to share.

Do you offer a student discount?

Yes. Students and teachers get Pro for half price. Verify your school email in Settings → Plan and the discount applies from your next payment.

Which payment methods can I use?

Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you subscribed in the App Store or Google Play, you pay through your Apple or Google account.

Refunds and cancelling

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings → Plan and choose Cancel subscription; App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled there instead. You keep Pro until the period ends. Paid in the last 14 days? See Can I get a refund?

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days of any payment, no questions asked. Request a refund from your receipt email and the money is back on your card within 5–10 working days.

What happens to my notes if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. You can still read and edit every note; Pro features such as offline notebooks and version history switch off until you upgrade again.

Will you remind me before my plan renews?

Yes, we email you 7 days before a yearly renewal with the amount and the date. If you miss it, the renewal can still be refunded for 14 days.

Sync and your data

Why aren't my notes syncing?

Check that each device is signed in to the same account, then pull down on the notes list to sync. If a note shows a crossed-out cloud, run the sync check.

Can I use Fieldnote offline?

Yes. Notes you've opened stay on the device, and Pro keeps whole notebooks offline. Your changes sync when you're back online.

How do I export my notes?

Go to Settings → Data → Export for every note as Markdown or PDF, with attachments in a ZIP. Exports are free on every plan.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Account → Delete account removes your notes from our servers within 30 days. Export your notes first; we can't bring them back.
