Fits a 16-inch laptop and still closes flat

I carry a 16-inch laptop, its charger and lunch on a 40-minute bike commute. The sleeve is padded at the bottom, so the laptop never takes the knock when I put the bag down.

Six weeks in, the straps haven’t stretched and both zips still run smoothly.

Comfortable all day, side pocket is tight

The back panel breathes better than my old bag, and with the chest strap done up the weight sits high. My one complaint: the side pocket takes a 500 ml bottle but not my 750 ml one.

Thanks, Kenji. The side pocket fits bottles up to 7.5 cm across. We’ve widened it on the 2027 bag, due in March, and we’ll email you when it’s in stock.

Kept my laptop dry in a downpour

I was caught in twenty minutes of heavy rain on the walk to the office. Water beaded off the outside and everything inside stayed dry, even the paper notebook in the front pocket.

Zip pull snapped after three months

I liked this bag until the main zip pull broke off in week twelve. The bag itself still looks new. Two stars, because support sent a replacement pull within a week.

We’re sorry, Tom. Zip pulls are covered by the 5-year warranty, and since August every bag ships with metal pulls instead of the moulded ones. If it happens again, reply to your order email and we’ll send a new one.

Light enough for a weekend away

Took it to Lisbon for three nights as my only bag. It fitted under the plane seat with two outfits, a wash bag and a tablet, and the luggage strap slid over my suitcase handle on the way home.

Well made, too many small pockets

Sturdy and comfortable, but I lose things in the eight inside pockets. I’d trade half of them for one bigger zipped pocket for a jumper.
